The world’s leading ongoing global study into Smart Metering-based Demand Response and related In-Home Services. Expected Release Date: 30 March 2010.

The intention of this project is to help the energy industry learn and strategize from state-of-the art knowledge, experiences and innovations from around the world. Through a voluntary round-table network of over 60 organizations (and growing) directly involved in related implementations, pilots, product developments and other key research, this in-depth, multi-client research project and report will identify current status, trends and best practice as well as expected future trends (until 2020). The dynamics and success-determinants of Demand Response and associated Smart Metering issues will also be covered. The project, already commenced, focuses on the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Japan and is planned to be completed by the end of 2009.
The project is being conducted by VaasaETT, directed by Dr Philip E. Lewis, in collaboration with EEE Limited and in cooperation with experts from a wide variety of organizations including Oxford University, Microsoft, There, ONZO, SenterNovem, Capgemini, Delta Energy and Environment, EnCT, Landis + Gyr, Engage Consulting, Interactive Institute, Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI), EMeter and Sustainability First.
